MMARTs & Slowly Com Vagar House Space, with a concept that I wanted to integrate Art + Tourism + Revitalization, and which I would like to contribute to the promotion of tourism and culture in the Village of Mourão and in a shared network in this Central Alentejo. It was a personal objective to share with the Village of Mourão since the beginning of the acquisition of this property, already with temporary accommodation operation, in the development of a concept of interconnection between art, culture, social inclusion and tourism. Thus continuing an agenda that involves us all, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The close proximity to the People and Sharing with the residents of Mourão, developing Partnerships in networks on the various themes mentioned and in this Central Alentejo, was a main objective of this concept focused on MMARTs | Arts and Crafts Studio and Slowly Com Vagar | Temporary Accommodation.

The concept of renovating this Home Space, the identity and memories of our family with roots in Baixo Alentejo, were conveyed with pieces of holm oak furniture designed by our father Henrique Albino, who also stood out in modernist architecture, as well as pieces by our mother, Graziela Albino, who, although a sculptor, stood out more as a ceramist. Many other pieces, objects and paintings now give a very particular soul to this space that I wanted to exude as a “Home Space”. With an academic background in architecture and a degree thesis in the area of Urban and Territorial Planning, I also attended ESBAL and Arte Ilimitada under the guidance of painters Filipe Rocha da Silva and Teresa Dias Coelho. Now, the center of this building complex and an existing and constructed space that I adapted, is a Painting Studio with a brand that is already in the process of being registered, MMARTs. There is thus a dream of realizing in two years the beginning of a more intense activity, in these sharing of network connections with artistic and cultural structures already implemented, in this Central Alentejo.
